Boris Kebetz 59, of Frederick, passed away on September 27, 2013 at his home.
Born on September 27, 1954 in Detroit, MI. He was the son of the late Viacheslav and Nastasha Browkowich Kebetz.
He served in the U. S. Air Force for 8 years followed by a nearly 40 year career in the Defense Industry.
Boris coached MAYAA baseball and LUYAA basketball. He loved gardening, rowing , tradition, Russian history, chess, memories of visiting Cape May, and the Christmas season. Boris was proud beyond words and adored his children.
He is survived by his children, Zachariah Daniel Kebetz and Alexandra Leigh Kebetz of New Market. One brother Igor Kebetz of Levittown, PA. Also survived by the mother of his children Lori Kebetz of New Market.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 02, 2013 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Stauffer Funeral Homes, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd, Mt. Airy.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013, 10:00 am at the St. Mary's Russian Orthodox Church, 316 Cassville Road, Jackson, NJ 08527. Interment will follow in the St. Vladimir's Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers contributions should be made to St. Catherine Eastern Orthodox Church, 433 Liberty St. Hagerstown, MD 21740.
