Bonnie L. (Deaner) Vance, 60, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at her home.
Born on January 2, 1950 in Brownsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles N. and Dorothy V. (Shumaker) Deaner.
Her husband, Richard Lee Vance, preceded her in death in 2007.
Bonnie was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Williamsport, Maryland and Women's Aglow International - Washington County Chapter.
She is survived by five daughters, Christy A. Myers of Hagerstown, April A. Lovins of Funkstown, Tyra L. Wells, Vetra E. Wolford and Lorrel V. Davis all of Hagerstown; one step-daughter, Tammy S. Harkrader of Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania; three step-sons, Richard L. Vance, II of Hagerstown, Thomas A. Vance of Williamsport, and James L. Vance of Little Orleans, Maryland; one sister, Peggy A. Sailor of Shepherdstown, West Virginia; and one brother, Harold Linwood Deaner of Brownsville, Maryland. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her sister Cindy House and her brother Newton Deaner.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland. Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow at Brownsville Cemetery in Brownsville, Maryland.
Friends are invited to visit on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the funeral home from 6 - 8 p.m.
