Born on April 7, 1944, in Dargan, MD she was the daughter of the late John W.and Fannie (Ebersole) Zimmerman.
Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of Boonsboro High School. Spending time with her family was her biggest joy. Bonnie loved flowers, NASCAR and going to the casino.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Rich W. Eichelberger (Salena), and Kevin R. Eichelberger (Darlene); grandchildren, Brian R. Eichelberger (Michelle), Rodney J. McCoy (Crystal), Katelyn M. Eichelberger (Sean),and Austin M. McCoy (McKenzie); great-granchildren, Delaney, Wesley, Liam, Emersyn, Remey, Declan and one on the way; siblings, Betty J. Crampton and Pete Zimmerman. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her five brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Samples Manor Church of God, 2128 Harpers Ferry Road in Sharpsburg, Maryland, where a graveside service will begin at 2 pm at Samples Manor Cemetery.
