Mr. Bobby Dale Frock, 69 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Jean Frock, his wife of 47 years.
Born October 17, 1940 he was the son of the late Ellis G. Frock and Naomi V. Stitely Frock.
Bobby was a 1958 graduate of Walkersville High School. He was a Life Member of the Walkersville Volunteer Fire Company and he was a former member of the marching unit.
He was employed as a tool and die maker at American Optical Company in Frederick from 1959-1980. He was a Supervisor of the Intaglio Platemakers at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, DC from 1980 until his retirement in 2009.
Bobby enjoyed gardening and family gatherings.
In addition to his loving wife Jean, he is survived by his daughter, Felicia Jean Krapf and her husband Andrew Charles of Frederick, a granddaughter, Katelyn Elizabeth Krapf, a sister, Shirley Geasey and husband L. Thomas and a niece, Pamela Lynn Geasey-Miller.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, June 5
th
, from 2-4 and 7-9 and they will also receive friends on Sunday, June 6
th
from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Funeral Services will be held in the Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 7
th
at 10:00 AM with Rev. Mark Wakefield officiating.
Interment will be in Christ Reformed Cemetery in Middletown, Maryland.
