Bobbie J. Michael

Bobbie J. Michael ,92, of Adamstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.

Born on March 15, 1930, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Algron S. Weedon and Agnes G. (Hawkins) Weedon.

She was the loving wife of William H. Michael, Sr., who died on June 29, 2019.  They were married nearly 69 years at the time of his passing.

Bobbie worked for the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. 

Bobbie was a treasure to all that knew her. 

She is survived by her son, William "Billy" H. Michael, Jr.; sisters, Grace S. Longerbeam of Fredericksburg, VA, and Joyce D. Volta of Clearwater, FL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD 21702. Funeral services will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, February 25 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately at Monticello Memory Gardens in Charlottesville, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 223 W 5th Street, Frederick, MD 21701, or to the North Shore Animal League, 25 Davis Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050.
