Bobbie Louise Martin

Bobbie Louise Martin, 72, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at her home. She was predeceased by her longtime love, Michael Basore.

Born on August 28, 1950, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Edward Martin and Helen Louise (Freeman) Martin Phillips.

Bobbie worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Western Maryland Hospital.

She was a history buff and enjoyed shopping and traveling. Bobbie was a special, one of a kind person who never met a stranger.

She was a quiet soul with a great sense of humor. She was loved and adored by everyone she met. 

She enjoyed helping others as well as loving her cats, which were the loves of her life.  Bobbie always maintained a giving and loving relationship with those that knew her.  

Bobbie will be greatly missed by many good friends.

A celebration of Bobbie's life journey will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, with Rev. Tim May officiating.
