Blanche Leone (Humble) Weaver, 71, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.
Born on February 26, 1942, in Porter, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Cloy Alfred and Harriet Luella (Schrock) Humble.
A graduate of Punxsutawney High School in Pennsylvania, Blanche was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Blanche is survived by her husband, Harry Dick Weaver; one daughter, Dawn Michelle Davey and husband Jim of Fairfax, Virginia; one son, Harry Deuane Weaver and wife Laura of Ijamsville, Maryland; three sisters, Norma Yount of Arizona, and Patty Davies and Phyllis Kelsey of Pennsylvania; one brother, Gale Humble also of Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Sydney Davey, Leigh Anne Weaver, Zachary Weaver and Brett Davey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bud Humble.
The family will receive friends at an open house to be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of her son, 10089 Dudley Drive in Ijamsville, Maryland.
