Blake (Blakers) Elliott Boles, 23, of Myersville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009.

Born on Aug. 2, 1986, in Manhattan, Kan., he was the son of Donna Kincaid Boles of Myersville and Jim Boles of Bangkok. Blake graduated from Middletown High School in 2004. He attended the University of Wisconsin in LaCrosse and graduated with a bachelor's degree in history at Hood College, Frederick, in May 2009.

Blake was an enthusiastic history buff who enjoyed debating, camping, reading, electronics and running. Some of his happiest times were spent with his family, especially on the 4th of July in Wisconsin.

In addition to his parents, Blake is survived by his loving sisters, Hannah of Taipei, Taiwan, Lydia of Lawrence, Kan., and Anna Leah of Myersville. Blake is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Leah Jean Boles of Caney, Kan. Blake is leaving behind his loving aunts, uncles and cousins including Doug and Sue Kincaid of Mukwonago, Wis., Diana, Tom, Jasmine and Tamara Sheldon of Louisville, Colo., and Debbie, Ray, Rachael, Rebecca and Drew Funk of State College, Pa. Blake is joining his Grandma and Grandpa Kincaid.

Services: The family is having a private memorial service.
