Mrs. Billie Zoe Fox of Middletown, died Wednesday, December 17th at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Kenneth M.W. Fox, her loving husband of 34 years.
Born October 10th, 1946 in Fairmont, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Iris Belle Wells McCrea and the late Willard Patchin Campbell.
Billie was a well known realtor, working in Frederick County for the past 30 years.
She was the owner of the Fox Realty Group which she founded in June of 1989.
She was a member of Frederick County Association of Realtors. She received the Round Table Club Award for Sales from 1988 - 2002 and the Round Table Club Award for Listings in 1988 - 1989. She also received the Distinguished Service Award in 2000 and was Top Producer in both Listings and Sales in 1985. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Frederick County Board of Realtors in 1988.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Her favorite vacation destinations were Skyline Drive and Disney World. She loved to play bingo and slot machines. She enjoyed sitting at Culler Lake in Frederick, watching the ducks and eating lunch with her husband.
Every Sunday she played board games with her mother and brother.
Surviving besides her spouse are two children, Steve M. Fox of Frederick and Kenneth W. Fox of Middletown; her mother Iris Belle Wells McCrea of Frederick; two brothers, David Campbell and Bruce Campbell; very close friend Terry Taylor of Frederick; sister-in-law Virginia Burner and husband John, of Frederick and mother-in-law Ida Marie Fox of Frederick. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her sister Cathy Campbell.
Visitation:
Visitation will be held Sunday December 21st from 2PM - 4PM and 7PM - 9PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike,Frederick.
Services: Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Monday December 22nd in the chapel at Stauffer Funeral Home with Pastor Anjel Scarborough of Calvary Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Her family requests memorial donations be made in her name to the American Diabetes Foundation or Calvary Methodist Church, 133 West Second Street, Frederick Maryland 21701.
