Beverly Scott

Beverly Willard Scott, 83, of Emmitsburg, left to join the Angels on Thursday, June 2, 2022 with her family by her side.  Bev was looking for a safe journey home, as her last days here were not the best health wise.

Bev is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Scott; daughters, Deborah Ann Freniere, Cathy Jo Scott, Mary Louise Belllison and husband, Gary; grandchildren, John and Stephanie Freniere, Rachel Scott, Jacqueline and Joseph Vitale, and Brittany Bellison.  Bev is also survived by her brother, Morris (Tommy) Willard; sister-in-law, Betty Willard; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel and Dorothy Willard; brothers, Ronald and Clarence (Lee) Willard; granddaughter, Faith Virginia Vitale; and son-in-law, John Freniere. Bev enjoyed planting flowers around her home, Girls Day Out, Family Dinners, traveling with her husband, and going to Chincoteague, Virginia.  When at home she enjoyed watching westerns.  Bev enjoyed supporting her grandchildren through all their life's milestones.

The family wishes to give special thanks to The CCU unit at Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital, and BridgingLife Hospice for the wonderful, compassionate care that they provided to her in her last weeks of life.

A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Anthony Shrine, 16150 St. Anthony Road, Emmitsburg, Maryland.  Interment will be private.
