Beverly Jelks
March 26, 1947 — June 25, 2016
Beverly Jelks, 69, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 25th at Carroll Hospital Center.
She was born as Beverly Ann Fulks on March 26th, 1947 in Frederick, MD and was the daughter of the late Thomas Fulks and Rosalie Mullineaux.
Beverly was raised in Montgomery County where she attended St. Martin's Catholic School and graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1961.
Beverly was a sweet and kind lady who proudly worked for N.I.H. for 26 years.
She is survived by her two children Christopher Whitmore and Kimberly Ray. In addition, she loved her six grandchildren whose names are Mason and Coleman Whitmore, Jeremy and Thomas Allen, and Alex and Corey Ray.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown PIke, Frederick on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 10-11AM where a service will begin at 11AM.
Interment will follow at Monocacy Cemetery.
