Ms. Beverly Maupin Rhodes Jackson, 68, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the Kline Hospice House.
Born November 29, 1946 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Hurl Maupinand Audrey Engelbrecht Maupin.
Ms. Jackson was a Frederick High School graduate, class of 1964. She was employed at Fed Ex for 14 years and was loved by many of her co-workers and customers. Most will remember Beverly for the years she drove a Frederick County School Bus, and also for raising funds for “Christmas Cash for Kids”. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, country music, line dancing and attending Renaissance Festivals. She will also be known for her love of fast cars and her “1963 Chevrolet Impala”.
She is survived by her daughter Khris Keepers and husband Louis, grandchildren Makenzie and Logan Keepers all of Frederick, her brother Jay Maupin of Brunswick and Audrey Jean Surenko and husband Robert of Frederick, a niece Janet Stine and companion Larry Roberts of Keedysville and a nephew Jay Maupin, Jr. of Wolfsville, and three great-nieces Taylor McConnville, Savannah Maupin and Madelyn Maupin. She was preceded in death by a brother Jon Maupin.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Monday, December 29, from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm, where services will be held Tuesday, December 30, at 11:00am with Debbie Williams officiating.
Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
