Mrs. Betty Lou Rohrbaugh, 66, of Brunswick, Maryland (formerly of Frederick), passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at her residence.   She was the companion of Lawrence Mills for 31 years.

Born September 22, 1946 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Alice Holt Shafer.

Mrs. Rohrbaugh was owner of Mills on the Hill Restaurant in New Market for 31 years.  She was a member of  Calvary Methodist Church, Frederick.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.   Betty was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, a professional rummy player  and loved working.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia Sandy and husband  Samuel Heath of Brunswick three grandchildren Patrick W. Sandy, Jr and wife Jamie, David Sandy and significant other Ashley, and Lisa Heath and significant other Theodore., great grandchildren Dawson Sandy,  Devon Cerny, David Michael Sandy, Chase Sandy, Justin Beall and Brianna Sandy, and sisters Edna Hurst of Frederick, Nancy Bengston of Thurmont, Linda Shafer and Wanda Shafer both of Frederick.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Shafer and Preston Shafer and sister Ruth Horkey.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.  She will also be remembered by her special friends Sheila Plummer and Kathy Williams.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, November 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Friday, November 30, at 11:00 am with Rev. James Flora officiating.

Interment private.
