Mrs. Betty Lou Rohrback, 86 of Brunswick passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Franklin Eugene Rohrback. They were married for 58 years.
Born February 3, 1925 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late John and Alice Cunningham.
She was a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1136 in Brunswick and the First United Methodist Church in Brunswick. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting and she was an avid reader.
She is survived by her four children, Vickie Pennington and husband Charles of Frederick, Diane Eagle and friend Daniel Bryan of Burkittsville, Richard Weir and wife Marjorie of Boonesboro, Franklin Rohrback and wife Kim of Brunswick, grandchildren, Lori McBride and husband Bryon, Donna Eagle, Rhonda Roman and husband Frank, Richard Weir Jr. and wife Shannon, Theresa Odea, Nicole Lazo Flores, Heather Rohrback and Hailee Rohrback, great grandchildren, Ashley and Alicia Benson, Chris and Sean Thomas, Brandon and Alex Weir, Aiden Stone, carols and Bianca Lazo Flores and Colt Stone, two sisters, Alice Turner, Norma Manuel, one brother, Guy Cunningham.
She is preceded in death by a son, Franklin Rohrback Jr. and three brothers, Bill, Lonnie, Jack and Tom Cunningham.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Sunday, March 6th from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 7th at 11:00AM with Pastor Kimberly Nunberg officiating.
Interment will be in Locust Valley Church Cemetery.
