Betty Rippeon

Betty Jane Rippeon of New Market, MD died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 22, 1939 in Creagerstown, MD to the late Roger Eli and Olive Grace Black Stull. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Franklin Rippeon; mother of Debby Grimm, Donald, Dwayne and the late William Wayne Rippeon; sister of Paul Stull, Ruth Jones and the late Mary Stull Rippeon; also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Betty loved to play Bingo and the slots. She enjoyed time with her family and friends and cooking for each and every one of them.

The family would like to especially thank, her niece, Doris Poole, Arleen Rippeon, Bernice Kelley and Laura Sparkman and to all family and friends who helped at this difficult time.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and where services will be held on Friday, February, 24, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD, 21702 or St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church of Creagerstown, 8619 Blacks Mill Road, Thurmont, MD 21788.
