Betty Jane Palmer Keyser, 90, of Myersville passed from this life on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick
Born on September 5, 1926 in Ellerton, at her family home to the late Cyrus E. Palmer and Beulah J. Summers Palmer
Betty worked at North American Phillips ( Price Electric), Dan-Dee Restaurant, Watkins Johnson, and Frederick Memorial Hospital, in the billing dept. She was also a Hostess at Bob Evans & Burger King of Myersville,
She was a life long member of St. John Lutheran Church, Church Hill.
She enjoyed Doll Collecting, Antique Glassware, listening to her player piano, and traveling with First United Bank Presidents Club.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Maulsby "Bud" Adophus Keyser in 2009; granddaughter, Jessie Keyser on Feb 18, 2007, siblings, Pauline Tibbetts, Richard (Bud) Palmer, Kenneth Palmer, & Jacqueline Garber.
She is survived by sons, Gene Keyser & Patricia Ropp and Kenny & Angel Keyser; grandchildren, TiAnna &Terry Doyle and their daughter, Ellie, Joelle Keyser, Sarah & David Brown; sister, Barbara Martin; brother, Dick Palmer. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Peppermint
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
A funeral Service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Frederick, Maryland.
