Mrs. Betty Ruth Mills, 82 of Martinsburg, WV, died on Friday, November 4, 2011 at City Hospital, Martinsburg, WV. She was the wife of the late George W. Mills.
Born on January 31, 1929 in Mt. Ranier, MD she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mary Eva Bladen. Betty was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Betty was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
Surviving are 3 children: Betty Viverette, Mary Merritt and husband Pat, and George Mills and wife Lisa; 8 grandchildren: Mary Teresa, Jeffrey Michael, Debra Lynn, Timothy Scott, Amy Michelle, Patrick Larry, Jerome Clarke, Jr., and Jennifer Michelle; 2 step-grandchildren: Natashia Jean and Matthew Lawrence; 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Jerome C. Wheeler.
Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Marion Wheeler.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Tuesday, November 8, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick, with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.
