Betty Lou Merriman of Brunswick, MD, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Ann and Martin Greenfield. She lived her entire 93 years in Brunswick and was a graduate of Brunswick High School in 1946.
Betty worked many different jobs over the years, but the one that meant the most was of mother and caregiver. She was of Baptist faith and loved her Lord. She walked to church almost every Sunday until her illness left her unable.
Betty is survived by her sister Patricia Greenfield, three children; Donald Merriman (Debbie), Thomas Merriman, and Karen Ivey (Dwane), all of Brunswick, nine grandchildren; Katie Rymer (Eric), Derrick Merriman (Carrie), Eric Stack, Daren Merriman (Kristin), Deanne Thorp (Jeremy), Danielle Merriman, Amber Willis (Andrew), Axl Merriman and Bobby Cunningham, eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is predeceased by her siblings; Sadie Greenfield, Wm Edward Greenfield, Norman Greenfield, Lucille Snoots, Leona Merriman, Ernest (Bill) Greenfield, Wilson (Buck) Greenfield, Jean Baker, her son Kennith Merriman, and daughter Penny Mclane.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Stauffer Funeral Home in Brunswick, 1100 North Maple Avenue Brunswick, MD
A celebration of Betty's life journey will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick, MD.
