Betty Kaye Martin

Betty Kaye Martin, 70, of Thurmont, Maryland, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD. She was the beloved wife of Jody Martin for 25 years. 

Born on July 29, 1954, in Hagerstown, MD she was the daughter of the late Clarence Wesley and Dorothy Elizabeth (King) Cline.

Betty graduated from Middletown High School. She retired from Leidos after 33 years as a Cancer Research Technician. Betty loved to cook, crochet, crafts and gardening. 

In addition to her husband she is survived by her mother -in-law, Shirley Martin, her son, Joseph Danner and wife Heather grandchildren; Madelyn Danner and Douglas "Mac" Danner; step-daughter, Tanja Mann and husband Eric; brother, Charles Cline and twin sister, Barbara Faye Rutherford and husband Lynn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard Cline, Elmer Cline and George Cline. 

The family will receive friends from 10-11 am on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. (Fred), 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD where a celebration of Betty's life journey will take place at 11 am. Interment will be private.
