Betty Eyler

Mrs. Betty Cramer Eyler, 88, of Frederick formerly of Walkersville, died on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the Russell Eugene Eyler who died in 1988.

Born on September 23, 1929 in Frederick County, she was the daughter of the late Emory Kemp Cramer and Grace Ramsburg Cramer.

Betty was a devoted wife and mother who cherished her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with her brothers and sisters and Jeannette her lifelong friend. She love to go out for breakfast lunch or dinner and spending time with her family and friends. She love to cook and bake and had a passion for stuffed animals. Betty always had a smile on her face and love to laugh and joke around. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Surviving are a son, Mark Eyler daughter-in-law Debbie Eyler of Florida; two grandchildren: Ian Eyler and Alaina Eyler; three sisters: Helen Nusbaum, Dorothy Buxton, and Evelyn Gaver; two brothers: Robert Cramer and Paul Cramer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Charles Cramer, Walt Cramer, Harry Cramer and Merle Cramer.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 27, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Tim May officiating. Interment will take place in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.
