Betty Auton

Mrs. Betty R. Auton, 79, of Monrovia, MD, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 9, 2010, at her residence after a lengthy courageous battle.

She was born in Nevada City, California, on February 5, 1931 to the late Warren Sealight and Eunice Ryan. She was preceded in death by husband, William "Bill" Auton in 1997.

She is survived by children, William "Bill" Auton and wife, Linda of Edgewood, NM; Christine "Christy" Smith and husband, Fred, of Monrovia, MD; Robert "Bob" Auton of New Market, MD; grandchildren, David Smith, Sr. And wife, Alice, of Monrovia, MD, Cinnamon Smith and husband, Jason of Monrovia, MD, Crystal Auton and boyfriend, Sean Hudson of New Market, MD; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea, David, Richard, Shyanne and Caleb. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Souza of CA, half brother, Julius Hafelfinger and sister-in-law, Lillian Moore and husband, Clifford of Hickory, NC. She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine.

Betty lived life to the fullest. She was a homemaker and had a great love for her family. She was a member of Bush Creek Church of the Brethren.

There will be a Memorial service to honor her life at 2:00 PM on July 19, 2010 at Bush Creek Church of the Brethren 4821A Green Valley Road, Monrovia.
