Mrs. Betty H. Anderson, 89, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Golden Living Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Marvin J. Anderson.
Born February 9, 1924 in Brunswick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Bessie Gladstone Heffner.
Betty enjoyed spending time with family, reading, working crossword puzzles and sewing. She was of Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her son Joseph Anderson and wife Rita of Frederick, two grandchildren Robin Little and Tracy Hardy, Four great grandchildren Kelly Bender, Skip Daugherty, Nick and Nate Little, and four great-great grandchildren, and a brother Lawrence Heffner of Rosemont. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers George, Jr, Douglas and Roland Heffner.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Thursday, October 3, at 7:00 pm.
Interment Private.
