Bethany Krump

Bethany Anne Krump passed away peacefully in her home on April 7, 2015 in Frederick Maryland. She was the loving wife of David Krump.

Born in Meadville, PA on March 4 ^{th, 1961 Bethany was the fifth of seven children born to Donald and Dorothy Elkin of Stephenson, Virginia.}

Bethany was known for her warm smile, kindness and generosity to everyone. She made a difference to lives of many people and is greatly missed. She did volunteer work with missing and unidentified persons organizations including: The Doe Network, NamUs and various law enforcement agencies. She also worked with reuniting people with their lost pets, ancestry research, mailing care packages to soldiers, and other charitable causes. Bethany enjoyed many hobbies including, gardening, sewing and making children’s clothes for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Bethany is survived by: her husband, David Krump; sons, Brian Mitchell, and Steven Mitchell; stepsons, Matthew Krump and Michael Krump; daughter, Amelia Krump; Grandchildren, Aiden and Katie Krump; parents, Donald and Dorothy Elkin; sisters, Kimberly O’Toole, Kristin Kaufman, Jennifer Sanders, and Darcy Elkin; brothers, Mark Elkin and Cory Elkin.

A memorial service will be held starting at 1 PM, Sunday, May 17th at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, 5400 Holiday Drive, Frederick, MD 21703.
