Bertha Carbaugh

Bertha Mae Carbaugh, 65 of Thurmont, MD passed away with the band of angels to heaven, Friday, February 11, 2011. She was the daughter of Margie M. Stambaugh and the late Jesse Richard Wiles.
Bertha was a graduate of Thurmont High School. She worked for Carlie Frock and Frederick Trading Co.
In addition to her mother she is survived by daughter Janice M. Carbaugh and Cindy M.; sister Carolyn Gray; grandchild Maria Armann; aunts Frannie Ridge, Olive Minser,Dottie Minser and Hazel Estep; uncle George Wiles; nephew Eddie Gray and remembered by special friends Pam Garber and Beth and Wayne Watcher.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont on Monday, February 14, from 11-2 PM with funeral services beginning at 2PM. The Rev. Lloyd Fuss will officiate. Pallbearers include Brad Shafer, Nicholas Watcher, Doug Yingling, Ricky Garber, Jimmy Smith and Ed Wiles. Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery (Creagerstown)
