Mr. Bernard E. Burkett, III, 57 of Martinsburg, West Virginia, died Friday, August 8, 2008 at his home.
Born December 22, 1950 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of the late Bernard E., Jr. and Gladys Morgan Burkett.
He enjoyed antiquing and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by a brother Earl Burkett and wife Cheryl of Thurmont, a nephew Jonathan Burkett of Tyron, PA and niece Kayla Burkett of Thurmont and a special cousin Glenn Burkett. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by a sister Joan Burkett, and brothers Michael, Gary, Jerry and Charles Burkett. His paternal grandparents Bernard, Sr. and Nanny Burkett and maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Lee Morgan..
Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 13, from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
Services:
Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 14, at 1:00 p.m.
Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
