Mr. Bernard Lerner, 85 of Silver Spring, MD., died Monday, March 16, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Anita Greenberg Lerner, his wife of 61 years.
Born August 22, 1923 in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Abraham and Jennie Progger Lerner.
He was a Sales/Driver for Ottenberg's Bakery in Washington, D. C.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two children Jeanne Fulk and husband Ronnie of Frederick and Linda Lerner of Silver Spring, two grandchildren, Tracey Cannon and husband Dave and Danny Deavers, Jr and wife Tara, two step grandchildren Ron Fulk and wife Hydie and Crystal Jamison and husband Michael, four great grandchildren, Maxwell Cannon, Mattingly Cannon, Delilah Deavers and Daisy Deavers, two step great- grandchildren, Dominic Fulk and Jacob Jamison, one niece, two nephews and cousins. He will be remembered by Danny Deavers, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his brother David Lerner.
Services: Graveside services were held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA.
