Mrs. Bernadette M. Clark, 52, of Frederick, died on Friday October 28, 2011 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Willie Clark.
Born on January 31, 1959 in Olney, she was the daughter of Wilson Troxell of Fairfield, PA and Marlene Funk Christie of Frederick.
Bernadette was a devoted mother & grandmother who enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren. She was retired from the Frederick County Board of Education. She was a lover and avid collector of both tiger and teddy bear collectibles.
She is survived by two daughters, Darnetta Duffin and Nicole Weedon of Frederick . Grandchildren, Shyheim, Qualeigh and London . Sisters, Germaine Crocker and husband Stuart of Altoona, PA., and Mindy Schmidl and husband Mike of Smithsburg, and Missy Keith of Damascus. Also survived by two nephews and four nieces. She will be greatly missed by her best friend Susan Alexander and her doggies, Sparkie and Biscuit.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 1, 2011 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick . Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:30pm Tuesday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
