Benjamin Poole
April 22, 1963 — August 23, 2012
Benjamin Thomas Poole, age 49, died suddenly on August 23, 2012 at his
home in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his
father, Eugene E. Poole on April 9, 2009. He is survived by his
mother, Lucy B. Poole, his fiancé, Ileana M. Luaces, his sister and
brother-in-law, Christina and William Lynn, his beloved nieces, Jenna
Lynn-Myers and Ashley Lynn and several cousins.
He was a unique man who touched everyone who knew him with his big
personality, good heart, and incredible sense of humor. He always
looked forward to football season and cheering on his Redskins. Those
games will never be the same again. He was an excellent mechanic and
loved restoring classic Mustangs. He loved grilling out enjoying his
view of the bay.
Ben loved people, and everyone who knew him or came into contact with
him were captivated by his animated charm. He will be dearly missed.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Thursday, August 30, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick where services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick
