Mr. Bedros Peter Kolandjian, 83, of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Citizens Care and Rehab Center.
He was born on May 13, 1931, in Sudan, Africa to the late Sarkis and Iskouhi Kolandjian.
Bedros lived life to the fullest and was a loving and generous father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
He is survived by his daughter, Karina Kolandjian, and her husband, Emad Kronfli, of Frederick; two grandchildren, Anthony Kronfli and Dahlia Kronfli; sisters, Takouhi Yenovkian of Philadelphia and Hasmik Bozadjian and her husband David of Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kolandjian; and a niece and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Mihran Kolandjian.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702, on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM.
The following day, Friday, January 23, 2015, a Mass of Armenian Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Armenian Apostolic Church, 4125 Fessenden St. NW, Washington, DC, 20016. Rev. Fr. Hovsep Karapetyan will be the celebrant. Service will begin at 11:30 AM.
Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, 9501 Catoctin Mountain Highway, Frederick, MD 21701 at 2:00 PM.
