Beckett James Hartner, 2, of Middletown, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
Born on June 26, 2017, in Frederick, MD, he was the son of James and Alexa "Lexi" Poklemba Hartner.
Beckett “Boy” came into the world with a bang and has been a force to be reckoned with ever since. Beckett will always be remembered by his tuft of blonde hair and ginormous smile. He was a fun loving, energetic, fearless, and adventurous young boy that kept his parents on their toes. He loved visiting his dad at the firehouse, fire trucks, his cowboy boots, his cat Cali, all the animals he could get his hands on, and any mischief he could find. He loved his “girls” Ansie, Addie & Livi more than anything, keeping up with them from the day he was born, chasing them around, stealing their donuts, and begrudgingly being their human baby doll.
The Hartner family attends Middletown United Methodist Church and Beckett was a MUMC Parents Time Out kid. Beckett was looking forward to attending preschool at MUMC following his three sisters. We can say the MUMC preschool halls will never be the same.
In addition to his parents, surviving are his sisters, Anslea, Addison, and Olivia. Grandparents, Jack and Ronnie Hartner, Allen Poklemba and Cheryl Gaver Poklemba. Great Grandmothers, Pat Glover and Fannie Poklemba. Aunts and Uncles, JJ and Beth Hartner, Jason Hartner (Godfather), Cap and Kristin Poklemba, Brooke Poklemba, Brooke and Petter Prime, Kim Hartner (Godmother) and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.
