Beatrice Rohrer

Beatrice Rohrer, 83, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Born on December 24, 1935, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late, Webster Leo Haines and Dortha  (Zimmerman) Haines. Beatrice was a very active member of Boonsboro Family Worship Center. She retired from the W.D. Byron Tannery of Williamsport and pursued a second career as a caregiver taking care of many in the community.

She is survived by her children, Robert L. Castle, Jr. and wife Brenda, Belinda K. Elliott and husband David, Thomas L. Castle and wife Sue and David Wayne Castle and wife Diana; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Lorraine Jones and husband Leon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chauncey Rohrer Sr.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland 21713.

A celebration of Beatrice's life journey will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Boonsboro Family Worship Center, 7605 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.  Rev. Jack C. Payne Jr. will officiate.  Interment will be at Boonsboro Cemetery in Boonsboro.
