Barrett Christopher Volpe, aged 42, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2024. He was born on December 17, 1981 in Elkhart, Indiana. His family and friends are deeply shocked and saddened by his sudden passing.
Barrett is survived by his beloved wife Stephanie Lea Thomas Volpe, his children Matthew Lee Volpe and wife Alexandra Lavina, Arvester Eugene Williams, and Whitley Ann Rose Volpe, as well as his grandchildren Benjamin Matthew Volpe and Sebastian Alexander Volpe.
He is also survived by his mother Sandra Biggs and her partner Brian Joiner, his father Dane Volpe and his wife Alesa Volpe, his grandparents Verne and Connie Biggs, his brother Brent Watson and his wife Ashley Arms-Watson, and his sisters Brooklyn Plank, Brittany Plank, Bethany Condy and her husband Brennan Condy, Krisane Duarte and her husband Ian Duarte, Tiffany Weinschenk and her husband Jacob Weinschenk, Cortni Robbins, Gabby Sparkman and her husband Nathan Sparkman, and Dalena Volpe.
Barrett graduated from Concord High School in Elkhart, Indiana, and had a long and successful career in recreational vehicle sales and service.
A long-time fan of the Chicago Cubs, Barrett enjoyed watching games and throwing the ball with his daughter Whitley. A car enthusiast, Barrett loved working on cars with his sons and driving his BMW and was known to indulge in long late-night walks with his best friend and Bernese Mountain Dog “Beamer”. He was partial to exploring history, watching movies with his family, and singing and dancing around the house. He was planning more family camping and fishing trips for the future.
Services for Barrett Volpe will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home, located at 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 2pm with Viewing to follow from 4-7pm.
