Barbara (Bobby) Gorman

Barbara (Bobbie) Ann Gorman, 77, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 25, 1941, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roger W. Lamm and Ida Rebecca (Jenkins) Lamm.

Loving wife of Charles Junior Gorman, her husband of 56 years.

Barbara loved to crocheting, reading, painting, cooking and enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She especially loved her time with her dog, Buffy.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, John W. Kegley and his wife Lois, Donna L. Wathen and her husband Charlie, Mary L. Morgan, Joann Powers and her husband Billy, Norma J. Adamson and her husband Dean,  and Carol Weedon and her husband Timothy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special cousin, Sandy Lowe and her husband Rick.

She is predeceased by her first husband, John Roger Kegley, brothers, Millard (Buck) Lamm and Stanley Lamm, sister, Elsie Virginia Roberts and Helen Louise Lamm, grandsons, John Merlin Adamson and Lonnie Glover, Jr. and son in law, Harry Morgan

The family will receive friends from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

A celebration of Barbara's life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 6, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.   Pastor Chuck Donavan will officiate.  Interment will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in  Jefferson, MD.
