Barbara Ann (McAfee) Wolfe, 62, of Springfield, West Virginia, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 13, while surrounded by her family.
Born on July 15, 1946, she was the daugher of the late Thomas Ellsworth and Annabelle Haupt McAfee.
Barbara attended the Harmony Church of the Brethren and most recently the Calvary Temple Church in Williamsport.
She was employed for 16 years at the Washington County Hospital and worked 8 years with the Wampler Longacre Factory in Moorefield, West Virginia. Most recently Barbara worked for 10 years at the Good Humor-Breyers Ice Cream Factory in Hagerstown.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Elvin R. Wolfe, Jr.; three daughters, Robin A. Smith, April L. Loveless and her husband Greg, and Michelle L. Smith, all of Hagerstown; one step- daughter, Cheryl L. Smith and her significant other David Gleckler of Waynesboro, Pa.; one step-son Elvin R. Wolfe, III and his wife Jennifer of Frederick, Md.; two sisters, Linda (Lynn) K. Kline and her husband Garry of Greencastle, Pa., and Tina M. Smith of Keedysville, Md.; two brothers, William F. McAfee and his wife Pat of Keedysville, and Roger L. McAfee of Williamsport. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne E. McAfee.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 11 am at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, P.A., 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro. The Rev. Robert V. Robinson will officiate. Interment will follow at the Harmony Church of the Brethren Cemetery in Myersville.
Friends are invited to visit the funeral home anytime after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, where the family will recieve friends from 6 - 8 p.m.
