Barbara Ann Ridenour

Barbara Ann Ridenour, 70 of Thurmont, Maryland passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Clifton Cliff Ridenour. They were married for 53 years.

Born March 9, 1937 in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Marie Wagaman.

Barbara was of the Methodist Faith.

She loved taking care of her home and enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She also loved spending time with her friends and family.

In addition to her loving husband, Cliff, she is survived by four children and 15 grandchildren:
Steven Ridenour and wife Lisa of Newark, Delaware and their children, Kenneth Vanover, Lori Vanover, Greg Ridenour and Stephanie Ridenour; Dennis Ridenour and Sherrie Amoss of Frederick, MD and his children, Travis Ridenour, Kelsey Ridenour, Ryan Ridenour and Angelia Lyles; Sandra Bowers and husband John of Berkeley Springs, WV and their children, Julie Hess, Jessica Thayer, John (Bo) Bowers, III, Joseph Bowers and Joshua Bowers; and Douglas Ridenour of Ranson, WV and his daughters, Allison Ridenour and Kaitelyn Ridenour; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Beverly Naylor, Norma Bowie, Doris Mowen and Shirley Long; and, two brothers, Thomas Wagaman and Orville Wagaman, Jr.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Wagaman.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 East Main Street, Thurmont, MD on Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
