Mrs. Barbara Jean Wagner,82, of Boonsboro, MD passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Wagner, Sr.
Born August 10, 1935 in Mt. Lena, MD she was the daughter of the late Gerald Abraham and Grace Viola (Wells) Barnhart.
Barbara was a graduate of Hagerstown High School. She worked as a processor with Direct Mail Processing in Hagerstown where she was also a member of the Hagerstown Lioness Club.
She is survived by her children Bardona J. Woods and husband James of Hagerstown, Donald E. Wagner, Jr. and wife Ginny of Boonsboro, and Robert A. Wagner and wife Pam of Elkton and son -in-law DJ Drawbaugh; sister Judy A. Johnson of San Antonio, TX; brothers Donald L. Barnhart of Glenelg, MD, and Gerald N. Barnhart of Williamsport; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Julie A. Drawbaugh, granddaughter Ginnifer; sisters Catherine E. Baker, Delores E. Shipley, Nancy A. Phelan and brothers Paul L. Harp, Richard Barnhart, Maurice M. Barnhart.
The family will receive friends at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 12:30 PM-1PM where a funeral service will begin at 1PM. Pastor Craig Oury will officiate.
Interment will follow at Boonsboro Cemetery.
