Mrs. Barbara Morrison Settle Snow, 79, of Frederick, died on Sunday July 8, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born on April 25, 1933 in Washington D. C., she was the daughter of the late William and Rhoda Allen Morrison.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, feeding the birds, doing crossword puzzles and most of all spoiling her dogs Zoie and Shasta.
Surviving are her children; Phyllis Andrews and husband John of New Market, John Settle and wife Rita of Florida, Bruce Settle and wife Cathy of Stevensville, MD and Ward Snow of Frederick. Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One brother Howard Morrison and wife Ethel of Pennsylvania and Joanne Busbani of Rockville.Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Morrison and two sisters Dorothy Morrison and Marion Burch.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, P. A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Friday July 13, 2012 from 5-6pm where funeral services will begin at 6pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Timothy May will officiate. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
In Lieu of flowers contributions should be made to the Frederick County Animal Shelter Control, 1832 Rosemont Ave. Frederick, MD 21702.
