Barbara Reeder

Barbara Ann Reeder, 80, of Boonsboro, Maryland passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Lee Brandenburg and Dorothy Louise (Cushwa) Brandenburg.
She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School in 1952.
Barbara retired from Nabisco after 29 years as office manager. She also worked for the Colonial Manor and Meadows Apartments for 12 years.
She was a member of the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren. She served as chairman of the board, property and finance chair, and taught disciple classes.
Barbara was the former President of the Hagerstown Lioness Club and Treasurer of the Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville, Maryland. She was also a member of the Clopper-Michael American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her special companion of 16 years, Kenneth Leon Williams of Boonsboro; cousin, Judith Kay Foster of Hagerstown; sister-in-law, Cindy Brandenburg of Keedysville; nieces, Crystal Campagna and husband Will of Salisbury, North Carolina, April Burgess of Sharpsburg, Maryland; nephew, Kenneth Lee Brandenburg, III and wife Tammy of Keedysville; great-nephews, Trenton and Cyrus; aunt, Polly Carroll.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Reeder and brother, Kenneth Lee Brandenburg, II.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday., July 20, 2016, at Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, 15 South Mulberry Street, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Audrey & Tim Hollenberg-Duffey will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville.
The family will receive friends between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
