Barbara Moran passed peacefully in her sleep overnight. She was a loving mother, a dedicated Army wife, a school volunteer, a red cross volunteer, and a retired federal employee. She was happy in her final days.
Barbara's home at Spring Arbor was a quiet, controlled, and loving environment. Her days were filled with bingo and support animals. And she was always in the care of her loving husband Raymond and an excellent nursing staff. Our thanks to all that made her life very special, in a world where few are so blessed. She was protected from the stress, strife and challenges of the outside world.
Currently, Maryland regulations require a small private family viewing. Arlington National Cemetery is limiting graveside services to ten family members. Mom will be in good company at ANC, sharing the grounds with patriots like her father Ben and her wonderful friends, CSM Herb & Dorothy Nauman. The family will post here if there is any change allowing wider attendance as society slowly reopens.
