Barbara Knoblock

Ms. Barbara Jean Knoblock, 73 of Frederick, MD passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born September 15, 1940 in Laytonsville, MD she was the daughter of the late Crittenden and Lena Walker.
Barbara retired from the Montgomery Public School System as a bus attendant. She was a honorary and lifetime member of the Hyattstown Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her trips to the bay, going to flee markets and playing Bingo. She also enjoyed listening to the High Chaparral Band.
She is survived by her significant other of 27 years, Cliff Bower, two daughters, Tammy Johnson and significant other Rodney Shelton and Kimberly Hawkins and significant other John Hallbeck all of Frederick, four grandchildren, Monica Burroughs and husband Ryan, Brittany Barber, Danny Albaugh and Jonni Leigh Knoblock, great grandchildren, Kylie Burroughs and Mackenzie Burroughs, her brother, Harry Walker and three sisters, Peggy Neal, Sally Bolton and Beverly Bland. She will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, John Knoblock Jr. and her brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home,  1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 2-4 & 7-9pm on Thursday October 10, 2013 where funeral services will be held on Friday October 11, 2013 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
