Mrs. Barbara Irene Ketterman,73 , of Rocky Ridge, MD passed from this life on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Jessie M. Ketterman, Sr.
Born July 10, 1944 in Cumberland, MD she was the daughter of the late Roy Russell and Margaret Pearl (Sager) Cox.
Barbara was a graduate of Allegany High School. She was a member of the Thurmont AMVETS Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Barbara enjoyed cooking, making crafts, and loved helping others. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children Kristina Wolf and husband Todd of Thurmont, Brenda Toms and fiance Bill Stottlemyer of Emmitsburg and Jesse Ketterman, Jr. and wife Lynn of Frostburg; grandchildren Rick Toms and companion Andrea Munk, Cheriann Menges and husband Alex, Tyler Wolf, Jesse Ketterman and Andrew "Drew" Ketterman; great-grandchildren Autumn and Caleb Hester and Jasper Toms; sisters Carol Cox of Cresaptown and Beverly Robertson of Cumberland, niece Crystal Riley and great-niece Breanna both of Keyser, WV. She will also be remembered by her life long friends Bob and Dot Maze and Becky Willard all of Thurmont.
She will be laid to rest with her husband,in Waxler Cemetery, Rawlings, MD at a later date.
