BARBARA JOHANSON

Mrs. Barbara Joyce Johanson, 92, of Millsboro, DE, (formerly of Thurmont, MD) passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016. She was the wife of the late John Russell Johanson.
Born August 3, 1923 in Dillon, Montana, she was the daughter of the late Obie Virgil and Cora Mae Cheek Dickerson from Fair Play, Missouri.
Mrs. Johanson attended church at Thurmont United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to eat.
She is survived by her children Daryl Wayne Johanson and wife Linda of Lamar, MO and Barbara Ann Moroz of Millsboro, DE, grandchildren Sean Johanson, Adriane Moroz and Shana Ison, great grandchildren Gunner, Garren and Riley Johanson, Drayton and Kyler Ison, and Logan and Zoe Rickerd and their father Kevin Rickerd. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Michelle Moroz Rickerd and also her son-in-law Michael Moroz.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main St., Thurmont Monday, May 23, from 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 Noon.
