Barbara Brown

Mrs. Barbara May Brown of Frederick, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She is the loving wife of Wayne M. Brown, the love of his life. They have been married for 43 years and together for 45 years.

Barbara was born in Washington, DC and is the daughter of the late Robert and Harriet Railey

Barbara is a loving, caring and unselfish mother and friend who is more concerned about others. She loved to shop and cook for holiday celebrations, especially Christmas. She was an avid bingo player (thanks Sharon). She is passionate about her love of her pets.

Barbara will be missed by all who know and love her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children and their spouses; daughter, Kelly Brunner, and husband, Tom, of Urbana; son, Michael Brown, and wife, Tracie, of Raleigh, NC; and daughter, Jill Johnson, and husband, Marco, of Frederick; four grandchildren, Kristen Brown, Shane Johnson, Yuri Brunner, and Sean Brown; and her loving pets, Cody and Boomer.

She is predeceased by her brother, William Railey.

Barbara's family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where a celebration of her life will begin at 3 p.m. Officiating will be Deacon Doug Nathan.
