On November 3rd, 2013 Audrey Garrott Williams earned her angel wings and was relieved of pain and suffering after a two month battle with cancer.

Born September 25, 1930 the daughter of Sarah and Jesse Garrott she was the youngest of seven children.

Mrs.Williams was a Charter Member of the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance Company and Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also an active member for many years at New York Hill United Methodist Church, and as an auxiliary member of the American Legion Brunswick Post.

She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Sauter and husband John of Brunswick and Joan Smith and husband Nelson also of Brunswick.  She has three grandchildren Kelli Dick and husband William of Brunswick, Brandy Greenawalt and husband Jason of Charles Town, West Virginia and Scott Smith also of Brunswick.  In addition Mrs. Williams also has two great granddaughters Jenna and Megan Dick of Brunswick and a step great grandson Johnathan. Her only living sibling and best friend is Evelyn Wilson of Brunswick. She also has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents, along with her brothers Martin, Tiny, and Peachy Garrott as well as sisters Lucielle Barnhouse and Elizabeth Barnhouse.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6th from 2pm until 4pm and again at 7pm until 9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick. Funeral services will be at 11am on Thursday, November 7th at the funeral home with Pastor Katie Bishop officiating.

Burial will be at Park Heights Cemetery in Brunswick.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance Company or New Hope United Methodist Church.
