Audrey House

Audrey E. House, 71, of Boonsboro, passed from life in to the arms of the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2020 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Harry.

Born on April 29, 1949, in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Betty (Kepler) Swope.

She retired from London Fog after over 20 years of service then worked as a GNA at local area nursing homes. Audrey enjoyed gardening and being with her family. Her two sons and their families were her life. She had a special dog, Bear, who will miss her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Richard W. Shaw and wife, Lisa, of Hagerstown and Frank L. Shaw of Boonsboro; her six siblings, Betty L."Bugs" Green of Funkstown, Edward D. "Danny" Swope, Jr. of Maugansville, Hazel A. "Sue" Grove of Downsville, Patricia A. Wampler of Hagerstown, Robert L. "Bill" Swope, and Luther A. "Sonny" Swope; one granddaughter, Lauren Kelley; and three great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10th at Boonsboro Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Hartman officiating.

Memorial donations may be made, in her memory, to Victory Baptist Church, 8014 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.
