Audrey Dustin

Mrs. Audrey Elizabeth Dustin, 91, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Roland S. Dustin who died in 1997.

Born on October 3, 1926, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Gladys Estelle Leishear Lehr.

Audrey loved the Lord and her deepest desire was for all her family to know Jesus as their Savior.

She worked for Bank of America for 21 years where she retired in 1980 as an assistant manager. After retirement, Audrey spent her time with family, painting, line dancing, playing Mahjong and pinochle.

She is survived by three children: Roland Kenneth Dustin and wife Leah of Clarksville, Peggy Lee Merson and husband Larry of Woodbine, and David Nelson Dustin and wife Terrie of White Stone, VA; eight grandchildren, Matthew Dustin, Jennifer Kinsey, Mark Thurston, Beth Justice, Jessie Merson, Christopher Dustin, Lara Scriba, Brooke Dustin, 14 great-grandchildren, and was expecting her first great-great grandchild; a brother, Harry Lehr and wife Kay of Taneytown. Audrey was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lehr.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, September 7, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 1402 N. Main Street, Mount Airy, MD, 21771, where a celebration of Audrey's life begin 11:00 AM with Rev. Keith Vincent officiating. Interment will follow in Emanuel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Skaggsville, MD.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gilchrist Hospice, 6336 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044.
