Audrey Blank

Audrey (Fogle) Blank, 87, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed away on March 4, 2018 at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation in Walkersville. She was the wife of the late Edgar M. Blank whom passed away in 2011.

Born on September 19, 1930, in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Burkhard and Ruth (Stull) Fogle. She was a graduate of Walkersville High School, class of 1948. She worked as a seamstress for many years, working at Claire Frock in Thurmont, MD. In her later years, she worked in retail sales at various places, her favorite and final position was at Lane Bryant. Audrey enjoyed playing bingo and chasing her grandchildren around.

Audrey is survived by her children, Steven M. Blank and wife Shirley, Jeanne E. Kline and husband Wayne, Edgar L. Blank and wife Judy and David B. Blank; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert B. Fogle and sister-in-law, Doris J. Fogle.

The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A. Walkersville, 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD 21793. The funeral service will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Glade Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kaitlyn, Kelsey and Amanda Blank for their time spent with her and also to the staff at Glade Valley for their care and compassion.
