Asimenia M. Morfessis, 67, of Walkersville, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
Born on July 5, 1950, in Kavala Greece, she was the daughter of Polichronis Tatsi and Cleopatra (Mavrofori) Tatsi.
She is survived by sister, Ourania, sister, Chrisoula, sister, Eleni, brother, Kostantino, brother, Vasilis, daughter, Maria Tirathelli, daughter, Kostantina “Tina” Castillo-Morfessis, daughter, Angeliki “Gigi” Morfessis, daughter, Ourania “Rania” (Morfessis) Blue, son, Nikolaos “Nick” Morfessis, son, Telemachos “Mike” Morfessis Jr., step-son, Peterjohn Morfessis, step-son, Dimitrios “Jim” Morfessis, step-daughter, Ioanna Morfessis, step-daughter, Chrisanthe Morfessis.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick MD 21702.
A Celebration of Asimenia’s life journey will take place at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 920 West 7th Street in Frederick MD. Father George will officiate. Interment will be at Glade Cemetery in Walkersville, MD.
