Asenath Roberts

Asenath E. "Ceanie" Roberts, 75, of Keedysville, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home.
Born on August 3, 1941, in Sandy Hook, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Julia (Jenkins) Mills. In 1996, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roberts.
She was a member of Mt. Briar First Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter, Juanita Bossler of Keedysville; sons, Hank Roberts, Gerald Roberts and Marty Roberts all of Keedysville; three grandchildren, Maria Roberts, Shane Roberts and Amanda Roberts; seven great-grandchildren, Fallon, Aidan and Madysen McCoy, Levi and Kayden Roberts, Brayden and James Weller and one great-granddaughter on the way; and one sister, Bernice Roberts of Hagerstown; nieces and nephews, Mark, Darryl and Randy Roberts and Elaine Robinet, David Mills, Idesta Mills, Penny Bowers and Shawn Mills; special friend, Paul Eavey; and her Shih Tzu, Lincoln.
Ceanie was preceded in death by grandson, Devin Roberts, in 2015.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.
A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27th at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph C. Burdette officiating. Interment will be held at Brownsville Heights Cemetery.
