Arturo Pineda

Mr. Arturo "Art" Pineda, 46, of Brunswick, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at Western Maryland Hospital Center following a lengthy illness.

Born February 7, 1968 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Etta and Luciano Pineda, Sr.

Art worked as a technician in the Heating/Air conditioning business.

He was a member of the Brunswick Eagles Aerie 1136, Brunswick Moose 1582, and American Legion Brunswick Post 96.

He loved sports and was an avid Redskins, Orioles, and NASCAR fan.

Art is survived by his daughter, Abigail; his sister-in-law, Cheryl Pineda of Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews, including his niece, Brittany Murphy of Brunswick.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Eli Pineda and Lou Pineda, who died on April 11, 2014, and a his sister, Ann Bly.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28 from the funeral home with Pastor Gary Heffler officiating.

Interment will follow in Park Heights Cemetery.
